Numerous questions come to us often, not just of the Brazil group but also of the true doctrine and accepted practices within (what we prefer to call) the "Branches" of the tree of the Church.  The "Church" is that which has been revealed through the prophets, down through the ages, then through Jesus Christ in the flesh and re-stored to the earth through the prophet, Joseph Smith Jr, in 1830.   Please feel free to ask us anything.  We will answer those questions here and will continue to group them into logical topics, as we continue to expand this section.

DOCTRINAL BELIEFS

  • What is the precise doctrine of Mr. Berger and his church?
ANSWER - Those of us who have been principals with Mr. Berger (that is to say involved with Mr. Berger since he became publicly known) will tell you that Mr. Berger does not like to state any doctrine - ever.  Mr. Berger has stated that his intent is to spread far and wide his book and that he is "Moses" (the reincarnated Joseph Smith Jr) and to NOT share any doctrinal beliefs with the explicit reason stated by him being that he seeks to draw in as many people as possible - FIRST, get them to "believe" and then and only then will there ever be any doctrine revealed.
  • Were any principals ever tutored in any of Mr. Berger's doctrine?
ANSWER -  IF and when the principals are ever tutored in any doctrine from Mr. Berger, they are always instructed on who they may or may not share this information to.  This is true about everything involved with Mr. Berger - adherents are made to keep "secrets" and "oaths".
  • When you say the "adherents are made to keep secrets and oaths", what exactly does that mean?
ANSWER - All of those who are considered by Mr. Berger to be a "principal" (faithful trusted and valued adherent) are gradually brought under an oath or made to keep "secrets", THIS (we believe) is the hallmark of Mr. Berger.  If a person is involved with Mr. Berger and his principals and has NOT been told anything that they must not tell or reveal to others, then they can be assured that they are not viewed by him as a necessary or a valued adherent as yet.
  • In your opinion, why does Mr. Berger makes his faithful adherents keep "secrets" or "oaths".  What kind of things are adherents or his faithful followers be instructed to keep secrets about?
ANSWER - Below are some examples of topics that have been secrets (note, some have now been exposed by previous principals that have now left the group):
  1. That the Melchizedek priesthood was completely taken off the earth requiring that God send angelic messengers to give Mr Berger the Melchizedek priesthood.
  2. That Mr. Berger is one of the 144,000, sealed for all time.  Mr. Berger also declared that Roberta is also one of the 144,000.
  3. Roberta, being a woman, did not ever lose her priesthood (Aaronic and Melchiesdek) which Mr. Berger declared she retained from the foundation of the world.
  4. All of the Restoration which came through Joseph Smith Jr. is in apostasy, and that Mauricio's job is to RE-restore it.
  5. That Joseph F Smith is of the "royal or real" lineage and as such has a right to be the President of the Church that Mr Berger is RE-restoring.
  6. "This work" must build upon the work of Joseph Smith Jr AND Joseph Smith III.
  7.  That the movies, The Matrix, are all real and true and that we do live in "a matrix", which is called Babylon.  That to "get out of Babylon" is to wake up and realize we are in a Matrix and to get out.
  8.  That all those who are born into this world *after* "Babylon" are reincarnated again and again, with different bodies but allegedly the same soul, until their personal work is finished.
  9.  That "Moroni" came to talk to 4 men-Berger, Machado, Batista and Zeppenfeld, and gave them instructions which was the basic plan that they were to follow.  However, later, Mr Berger informed that "Moroni" returned to give more information but this time only to him. These words or instructions were interpreted and re-interpreted time and again.  One iteration was stated to be a more true translation given by Mr. Machado, as it was stated that he comprehends the "ancient Portuguese".
  10.  That Mr. Berger has the ability to see anything about another person because of "the stones".
  11.  Mr. Berger can "get" a revelation on demand even one that nullifies a previously given one.
  12. The entirety of "the Sealed Book of Mormon" was already written previous to anyone ever coming to see the "sealed gold plates".  Mr. Berger was initially planning on revealing all his book, but changed his plans later, for a variety of stated reasons.  The second part of his book will reveal his doctrine of reincarnation, among many other things that many of his current financial donors will not agree with, hence his need to delay the book.
  13. Very inner circle is aware that there is great anxiety with Mr. Berger around the date of September 11th and this is the date that he stated he was made aware that he must not give all of his current book at one time.
  14. It is a closely held "secret" that "moroni" did not come to get any plates, at any time... even though Mr. Berger, on many occasions, stated that this happened.
  15.  Mr. Berger stated, in October of 2018, that either "Moroni" or he, personally,  thought it in his head, that the book should be given in two parts after the people are living the first part.
  16.  Mr. Berger believes that "men kill Zion" and that "women will rescue Zion....although he draws very few women into his group and far less into his inner circle.  We believe the reason for this is exactly as Mr. Berger has stated, that "men have priestly tricks", and "seek to have power and control" by using their priesthood titles.
  17. Mr. Berger believes that the first part of his book teaches "priesthood how to use their gifts".  He also believes it teaches about the "order of Enoch", something so startling that "it would change the history of the restoration", which Mr. Berger stated that Mr. Machado had to teach him.  (Many wonder why it is that Mr. Machado is the only one who could accurately interpret the ancient Portuguese "words of Moroni" AND had to explain Mr. Berger's book to him.
  • Could you tell us more about why Mr. Berger makes his faithful adherents keep secrets or oaths.  What reasons or rationale would he state to these "adherents"?
ANSWER - Again, keeping secrets and/or oaths are the hallmark trait of Mr. Berger.  Here are some of the actual statements made by Mr. Berger to some of his principals (faithful trusted or valued adherents).
  1. Only "You" understand but that person (or group) does NOT understand.
  2. You understand deep doctrine but the others do not understand deep doctrine.
  3. That person (or group) must never find out, as long as they live, or it will cause them to leave the group.
  4.  This person (or group) must never find out (a particular thing) or it will destroy the work.
  5. Only YOU must do what I'm telling you, but no one in "Zion" must know about this.
  6. People in "Zion" are not ready to understand this yet, so we must not "reveal" this yet.
  7. LDS (or RLDS or Temple Lot) people will not accept this because of their traditions that they are tied to, so we must not reveal this to them now.
  •  Keeping secrets or oaths does not sound normal or Godly, why would anyone agree to keep these secrets or oaths?
ANSWER - The thought that a person is worthy or accepted to receive "secret" or "hidden knowledge or meaning" gives adherents a sense of being special or that their knowledge or understanding of certain spiritual things are beyond the understanding of others.  In brief, it appeals to the ego.

Changing Storyline

  • As observers of the continuing saga of Mr. Berger and his allegations, it seems to us that the story line changes, with twists and turns, quite often.

  • Would the "principals" give us an idea of some of the changes that they have personally been involved with?
ANSWER - We will draw these answers from numerous principals and post them in the best chronological order that we are able to.  As Mr. Berger is ever changing this list will continue to grow.
